Sources close to Prince Harry and Meghan shared with Page Six that the couple plans to honor Queen Elizabeth II in their own meaningful way. However, they have not received any official information or invitations regarding plans to mark the anniversary of her passing.
Meanwhile, King Charles is anticipated to observe the anniversary of his mother’s death “quietly and privately” at Balmoral. Although not a formal royal event, this private tribute is expected to hold deep significance for the monarch.
Numerous sources have indicated that Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—will be present at Balmoral to mark the meaningful day as well. While the palace has not officially announced any plans, insiders emphasize that the tribute to the late matriarch is personal and heartfelt.
During the period when the Royal Family will be gathered in Scotland, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have their own commemorative plans. On the anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s passing, the couple will be in Europe, attending the Invictus Games held in the German city of Dusseldorf.
