The upcoming 2023 edition of the Asia Cup will begin on August 30. Since 2018, for the first time, the Asia Cup tournament will be played in ODI format.

Sanath Jayasuriya

Sri Lankan legendary batsman Sanath Jayasuriya is on top of the list with 1220 runs in 25 ODI matches. He has also played the maximum number of Asia Cup tournaments in ODI format.

Kumara Sangakkara

Another Sri Lankan, Kumara Sangakkara, the left-handed batsman, is the second leading run-scorer of the Asia Cup in the ODI format who scored 1075 runs, with 4 centuries and 8 fifties, in 23 innings.

Sachin Tendulkar

Sachin Tendulkar is an Indian batsman and is the most prolific run-maker of all time. He is in number three on the list who played 23 innings and scored 971 runs.

Shoaib Malik

Shoaib Malik, the greatest all-rounder of Pakistan has played 17 innings in the Asia Cup tournament and scored 768 runs with 3 centuries and 3 fifties.

Rohit Sharma
