In an interview with Tucker Carlson, Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, slammed his rivals for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination and Democrat Joe Biden, the US President, as counter-programming to his party’s first primary discussion.
An interview was aired on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Trump ignored the debate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and opted rather to interview with Tucker Carlson, a former Fox News talk show host.
It didn’t make logic for me to participate while he was conducting his opponents by “50 to 60 points” in the polls, during the pre-recorded interview.
Do I sit there for an hour or two, whatever it’s going to be, and get bullied by individuals that shouldn’t even be racing for president? he said.
Former US President disregarded Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as a “lost cause,” said he was “very disappointed” by his Mike Pence, former vice president, and called Chris Christie, former New Jersey governor, a “lunatic.”
During the interview which was conducted in a wood-paneled room at Trump’s Bedminster golf club in New Jersey, Trump grabbed a broad range of topics including being questioned whether he considered Jeffrey Epstein, the US financier charged with sex offenses, had killed himself. I believe he probably committed suicide, Trump answered.
Ex-US President called Joe Biden, the current US President, the “worst president in the history of the United States” and recommended that he may not be the Democratic nominee on coming election day in November 2024.
I don’t believe he’ll make it to the door but you never know. I believe he’s worse mentally than he is physically and physically he’s not exactly a triathlete. In multiple manners, I’d like to run against him because his record’s so poor.” Trump said in an interview
During an interview, Trump also dismissed his four illegal charges calling them “trivia, nonsense, bullshit.”
When he was asked by Carlson what his priority would be if he wins re-election, the first thing I would do is I would pack the border well and tight but for individuals who want to come in lawfully, Trump answered.
He was also asked about the chance of civil war or open battle in the US, I don’t know but I can say that there’s a level of intensity that I’ve never noticed and there’s a level of hate that I’ve never noticed, and that’s likely a poor combination, Trump replied.
