The character of Draco Malfoy will be portrayed by Steve John Shepherd, and Harry Acklowe steps into the shoes of his son, Scorpius Malfoy, creating an intriguing dynamic in the story.

“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” is a masterpiece of the stage, penned by Jack Thorne and based on a unique story co-crafted by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany.

Set 19 years after the events of the original series, the play reunites the trio of Harry, Ron, and Hermione on a new adventure. Alongside them, a new generation of students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry faces their own challenges. The story is woven with spells, suspense, and the struggle against mysterious forces, creating a magical experience for the audience.

With over 1.5 million attendees throughout its seven-year run at London’s renowned Palace Theatre, the production marked this milestone last month.

On September 1, the play will be part of the Back to Hogwarts Day festivities at London’s King’s Cross station, allowing fans to celebrate the beloved wizarding world. The cast and creative team of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” will be present for this special occasion.

The production represents the eighth installment in the Harry Potter series and the first to be brought to life on the stage. Since its global premiere in London in 2016, the play has garnered immense popularity, selling over six million tickets worldwide and earning an impressive array of awards, including nine Laurence Olivier Awards and six Tony Awards.

The Palace Theatre is now open for reservations for the two-part production, extending its dates until May 19, 2024, ensuring that the enchantment continues to captivate audiences for months to come.
