The Las Vegas Strip lit up with star power as U2, the iconic Irish rock group, welcomed none other than superstar singer Lady Gaga to join them onstage during their U2: UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere residency. The extraordinary moment unfolded in a dazzling display of music and lights.

In striking images captured during the performance, the 37-year-old “Bad Romance” singer was seen sporting sunglasses and a black leather jacket, complementing the distinctive style of the band’s lead singer, Bono. The stage came alive with a vibrant array of colors, setting a captivating backdrop for the remarkable collaboration. Additionally, their images were projected onto the awe-inspiring venue, a 366-foot-tall orb located near the Las Vegas Strip.

Bono, the charismatic frontman of U2, introduced Lady Gaga with immense enthusiasm, describing her as “the most audacious, vivacious woman in any room she’s ever in.” He welcomed her to the stage with an introduction fit for a superstar, saying, “Would you welcome to our turntable, the divine — the divinyl! — Lady Gaga.”

Variety reported that Lady Gaga joined U2 for a series of electrifying duets, enthralling the audience with performances of her hit song “Shallow” from “A Star Is Born,” as well as U2 classics “All I Want Is You” and “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.”

Notably, Lady Gaga’s remarkable collaboration with U2 is not her only recent appearance on the rock music scene. Just this month, the Oscar-nominated actress graced the stage with The Rolling Stones at the Racket club in New York City, where they performed their enchanting duet “Sweet Sounds of Heaven” from The Rolling Stones’ latest album, “Hackney Diamonds.”

U2’s Las Vegas residency, held at the remarkable Sphere venue, commenced in September. The opening night witnessed a star-studded audience, including the likes of Orlando Bloom, Snoop Dogg, Jon Hamm, Elizabeth Banks, Dr. Dre, and Paul McCartney, adding to the grandeur of the event.

In a recent update, U2, comprised of the iconic Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Bram van den Berg, announced an extension of their residency, with an additional 11 dates scheduled for 2024. This expansion brings the total number of performances in their spectacular residency to an impressive 36, further solidifying their legendary status in the world of rock music.
