Sabrina Carpenter Unleashes Spine-Tingling Music Video for “Feather” as Halloween Treat

In a Halloween delight for her fans, the renowned pop star Sabrina Carpenter delivered a mesmerizing and eerie music video for her hit song “Feather” just in time for the conclusion of the spooky season.

Sabrina Carpenter, known for her extraordinary vocal talents and catchy tunes, took an intriguing and horror-infused creative approach in her latest music video. In this visual masterpiece, the 24-year-old artist assumes the role of a femme fatale who embarks on an unexpected spree, targeting individuals who have wronged her.

The video artfully explores themes of empowerment as Carpenter’s character takes on catcallers, toxic mansplainers, and an individual who violated her privacy, all with an eerie and darkly comedic twist. What’s truly unique is that, instead of mourning the demise of these men, their tombstones bear a witty inscription that reads, “He was just OK.” Carpenter dances gracefully in a black tulle dress around their funeral altar before making her exit in a pink hearse, a fitting image for a pop star of her caliber.

The lyrics of the song convey a cheeky post-breakup anthem, with Carpenter singing, “I feel so much lighter like a feather with you off my mind / Floatin’ through the memories like whatever / You’re a waste of time.”

Carpenter offered a tantalizing sneak peek of the video one day before its release, sharing a teaser on her Instagram with the caption, “no trick just treat happy halloweeeeeeen,” fully embracing the horror references that would unfold in the video.

Moreover, after announcing the release of “Feather” on Instagram, the singer also treated her fans to behind-the-scenes photos from the video’s production, providing a peek into the fun and campy creative process.

“Feather” initially found its place among the bonus tracks on the deluxe edition of Carpenter’s album “Emails I Can’t Send Fwd,” which was released in March 2023. This came several months after the initial launch of her fifth studio album in July 2022. Sabrina Carpenter’s “Feather” music video is not only an impressive artistic endeavor but also a thrilling Halloween treat for fans of the talented pop sensation.
