Following Monday’s earthquake in Turkey-Syria, the death toll rises to 21,000, nearly 22,000. The death toll surpasses the 1999 death toll of 21,500 deaths. The confirmed number of deaths recorded in Turkey is 18,342 meanwhile 3,377 deaths are recorded in Syria. The confirmed death toll in Turkey-Syria is 21,719. Rescuers have bright hope of finding people alive while experts are afraid of raising the death toll.
US issues blanket license for Syria
The US Treasury Department says it has issued the blanket license to ease the path for Syria followed by Monday’s quake. The license will last for six months.
U.S. sanctions in Syria will not stand in the way of life-saving efforts for the Syrian people. While U.S. sanctions programs already contain robust exemptions for humanitarian efforts, today Treasury is issuing a blanket General License to authorize earthquake relief efforts so that those assisting can focus on what’s needed most: saving lives and rebuilding.”

Dam collapse in Syria’s Idlib
The quake-hit people in Syria faced another misery as the dam collapsed in Idlib. A collapse of the dam caused the overflow of its banks and flooded homes. Along with the quake’s destruction the flood destroyed 20 houses in the al-Tlul village.
Throughout history, people took the benefit from the Asi River but this time earthquake led the water to invade their houses.
Ukrainian rescuers went to Turkey from the war zone
Ukrainian rescue has all -knows how to deal with any kind of emergency as they are too familiar with it. The Ukrainian rescue team went to Turkey to search for earthquake survivors. 88 emergency responders went to Turkey on Thursday to help the local rescuers team. The rescue team bought special rescue operations, medical teams, doctors, dog handlers, and firefighters.
There is a war in our country, but we understand that we have to help, and this aid is mutual.
