Recent rumors circulating in the hip-hop world suggest that the on-again, off-again couple, Cardi B and Offset, might have had an unexpected encounter in New York City. Speculations arose when an Instagram fan, user sssyxjaaaaas, shared selfies claiming to have met both Cardi B and Offset while visiting a store in the Big Apple.
The intriguing part is that the outfits worn by Cardi B and Offset in the selfies seem to match what they were wearing in each other’s Instagram stories on the same day during a visit to Torrisi, a store in New York City.
Cardi B and Offset’s relationship has been marked by its share of ups and downs since their initial meeting in 2017. After secretly tying the knot later that year, the couple has experienced several breakups and reconciliations. They share two children together – five-year-old daughter Kulture and two-year-old son Wave.
Earlier this month, Cardi B took to social media to announce that she and Offset had once again decided to part ways.
“I don’t know if you guys have been getting clues from me from my [Instagram] lives or from my stories when I put on certain music,” she shared in a video.
The 31-year-old continued, “I have been single for a minute now but I have been afraid… not afraid I just don’t know how to tell the world.”
“But I feel like today has been like a sign. The last time I got on live I kind of wanted to tell you guys but I didn’t know how to tell you, so I changed my mind,” she added, leaving fans curious about the current status of their relationship.
