Lionsgate has released the first trailer for the upcoming World War II film, “The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare,” featuring Henry Cavill and Alan Ritchson in leading roles. Directed by Guy Ritchie, the action comedy is based on true events related to a secret WWII combat organization led by Winston Churchill and Ian Fleming.

The trailer introduces Henry Cavill’s character assembling a team of undercover cadets with a mission to combat Nazis. In a witty exchange with Cary Elwes’ character, Cavill remarks, “You won’t like them. They’re all… bad.” The agents embark on a daring mission to eliminate Nazis, showcasing Cavill’s character enthusiastically leading the charge.

The film’s official synopsis highlights the clandestine squad’s unconventional and ‘ungentlemanly’ fighting techniques that played a pivotal role in changing the course of the war, ultimately giving rise to the modern Black Ops unit.

Scheduled for theatrical release on April 16, “The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare” boasts a star-studded cast, including Eiza González, Henry Golding, Alex Pettyfer, and more.

Based on military historian Damien Lewis’ book of the same name, the film promises an action-packed narrative rooted in historical events. As the first glimpse into the movie is unveiled, anticipation builds for a thrilling cinematic experience that blends history with Guy Ritchie’s signature style.
