Margot Robbie Makes Striking Public Appearance Following Oscar Snub

Margot Robbie, the acclaimed actress, stepped into the public eye for the first time since being notably omitted from the Oscar nominations, alongside fellow filmmaker Greta Gerwig. The event was a special screening and Q&A session hosted by the Academy Museum in Los Angeles, attended by notables such as Ryan Gosling and other co-stars from the upcoming Barbie movie, including Rhea Perlman, America Ferrera, Ariana Greenblatt, and Kate McKinnon.

Robbie, the Australian sensation, made a fashion statement at the occasion, donning a Barbie-themed t-shirt, bright pink heels, paired with jeans and a blazer.

This public appearance follows the disappointment of both Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig failing to secure nominations in the categories of Best Actress and Best Director, respectively. The absence of their names sparked criticism, with Ryan Gosling, nominated for Best Supporting Actor, expressing his discontent. Gosling stated, “There is no Ken without Barbie, and there is no Barbie movie without Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie.”

Despite the disappointment, an insider shared with Daily Mail that Ryan Gosling remains steadfast in his stance, refusing to surrender his nomination, even in the face of online criticism. The source noted, “He is sticking by his statement and understands people are upset because he is upset as well, but he is not going to be swayed by what anyone is saying online.”

The insider also revealed that should Gosling emerge victorious or perform during the ceremony, he plans to honor Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig in a meaningful and noteworthy manner. As the public eagerly awaits the Oscars, this episode adds a layer of intrigue to the upcoming awards ceremony.
