Ariana Grande celebrates mom Joan’s 67th birthday with some childhood clips of young mom on Monday, June 10.
Celebrating the occasion, the 30-year-old pop icon shared some throwback clips of Joan as a young mom to a toddler Ariana.
“Happy birthday to the most brilliant and beautiful mommy @joangrande I love you,” she wrote over one clip which showed Joan, looking summer-chic in a midriff black top and white shorts, gazing lovingly at Ariana beating the heat in a small kiddy pool in their backyard.
In another home video, Joan asked her future Grammy-winning daughter, “You like John Travolta?” as she played with her toy bike.
Ariana – a true theater kid at heart – responded, “No, I like Grease.”
The Boy Is Mine hitmaker shares a very close bond with her mother and the pair have been publicly supportive of each other.
Just last month in May, Joan gushed over Ariana’s “magical” Met Gala appearance and performance, tearfully telling her how “proud” she was of her.
Similarly, the Yes, And? songstress has always spoken very fondly of her mother, declaring during her February appearance on The Zach Sang Show, “I want to be so much more like her than I am.
