Ava Kris Tyson, a co-host of the popular YouTube channel MrBeast, is facing allegations of inappropriate behavior with a 13-year-old fan, sparking widespread outrage and concern.
According to reports, Tyson, who began transitioning in 2023, formed a relationship with the minor, known as “Lava,” after they won a competition at 13 years old.
Evidence has surfaced online showing Tyson sending risqué comments to Lava on social media, as well as questionable messages on Discord.
Lava has since come to Tyson’s defense, stating that no wrongdoing took place, aside from “edgy jokes” that bordered on being inappropriate.
“These videos are massive lies and twisting the truth. Ava never did anything wrong and just made a few edgy jokes. I was never exploited or taken advantage of,” Lava tweeted.
However, KEEMSTAR, a popular YouTuber, has corroborated Lava’s identity and confirmed that MrBeast was aware of the situation.
The allegations have drawn comparisons to the recent scandal involving Dr. Disrespect, who was banned from the gaming community for messaging a 17-year-old.
Further investigation has revealed that Tyson has interacted with “Shadman,” an artist known for drawing young characters in provocative poses, and has made requests for explicit content.
Jake Franklin, a former member of MrBeast’s team, has also alleged that MrBeast was aware of Tyson’s behavior, stating “Jimmy knew.”
Tyson has since made their Twitter profile private and removed several posts. The incident has sparked widespread outrage, with fans and critics calling for an explanation from MrBeast and his team.
