Known as Nikocado Avocado, YouTuber Nicholas Perry captured attention for his secret and shocking physical transformation. Nicolas, the 32-year-old YouTuber, managed to keep his weight loss journey secret by uploading pre-recorded videos on the platform.
On September 6 Nikocado uploaded a video on his channel titled Two Steps Ahead where he disclosed losing 250 pounds over two years, all the while remaining cautious about his plan.
Nikocado Avocado calls himself the “King of Mukbangs”, according to a report by People magazine. The term “Mukbang” first originated in South Korea where people eat massive amounts of junk food in front of the camera. In the video, Nikocado shared that he successfully passed “the greatest social experiment” of his life.
“Today, I woke up from a very long dream, and I also woke up having lost 250 lbs off of my body. And just yesterday, people were calling me fat and sick and boring and irrelevant… and yet I’ve still managed to stay two steps ahead of everyone. The joke’s on you.”
250 lbs is approximately 113.398 kgs, an enormous amount of weight that he was able to shed over 2 years.
Nikocado Avocado returned to consuming a huge plate of cheese noodles, indicating his return to Mukbang. While eating he disclosed the reason for his 2-year hiatus from creating any type of content was to focus on his health.
Nikocado Avocado, in an interaction with NBC News, said that he had everything planned out. He added that two years ago, he used to weigh 411 pounds. However, currently, he weighs 158 pounds.
Revealing that he executed the plan, Nikocado explained, “I have been strategically posting pre-recorded videos for 2 years, on both YouTube and TikTok. I edited the videos so that they would appear recent, allowing me to focus on healing my body behind the scenes. I shaved my head so that people wouldn’t recognize me in public. A handful of fellow YouTubers also helped to keep my secret.”
Nikocado Avocado told the outlet that despite everyone making a fool of him after seeing his video of over-eating, he was in “total control the entire time”.
