King Charles shared a message of peace after the monarch had an awkward encounter with an anti-monarchist.

For the unversed, the monarch and Queen Camilla were invited to Australia’s Parliament House in Canberra.

The royal couple was seated at the centre stage when an MP named Lidia Thorpe verbally attacked the King, shouting, “You are not my King.”

Independent Senator Lidia Thorpe interrupted a reception for King Charles yelling “you are not my King” and “this is not your country” before being removed by security officers.

However, the woman, who was dressed in indigenous dress, was dragged by the security officials.

Now, Buckingham Palace has released King Charles’s powerful message as tensions in Australia grow.

In the shared delightful video, in which the monarch was spotted greeting the children, he said, “I cannot begin to express how pleased we are to be here again.”

In response, the Prime Minister of Australia, Anthony Albanese, added, “On behalf of all Australians, we wish you an absolute splendid stay.”

King Charles and Queen Camilla kicked off their tour on Friday night after receiving a warm welcome at Sydney airport.

Notably, it is His Majesty’s first big royal tour after he ascended the throne after the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
