Adele has concluded her two-year Las Vegas residency with an emotional final performance at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The chart-topping artist reflected on her decision to embrace a residency format, sharing how it allowed her to remain close to her son, Angelo, while pursuing her career.
Speaking to her audience during the last show, the Rolling in the Deep singer addressed her 12-year-old son, explaining, “I chose to do a residency because I wanted to keep his life as normal as possible. It allowed me to be home on the weekends when he couldn’t always be with me.” She added, “Thank you for being patient with me, Angelo. I love you to bits.”
Adele admitted the final night was an emotional milestone for her but shared that she found a sense of closure when her idol, Celine Dion, attended one of her performances earlier this year. Recalling the memorable evening, she said, “That moment was full circle for me—it’s a big reason I wanted to perform here in the first place.”
The Grammy-winning artist also took time to acknowledge her fiancé, Rich Paul, for his unwavering support throughout the residency. “You’ve always believed in me and made me feel like I could achieve anything,” she said, expressing gratitude for his encouragement.
Adele’s residency, which began in November 2022, spanned 100 weekends and offered fans an intimate experience with her music. As the curtains closed on this chapter, Adele’s heartfelt reflections highlighted her dedication to both her family and her artistry, leaving fans inspired by her journey.
