Cardi B has taken her grievances with her estranged husband Offset public, accusing him of neglecting their children, particularly their newborn. During a passionate X Spaces session on January 14, the Bodak Yellow rapper voiced her frustrations about Offset’s lack of involvement in their family life.
“You just called your daughter for the first time this year, yesterday. Your newborn,” Cardi, 32, said, according to Billboard.
The Grammy-winning artist further claimed that Offset failed to buy Christmas gifts for their three children — Kulture, 6, Wave, 3, and their four-month-old baby — despite purchasing presents for his children from other relationships.
“You didn’t buy my kids s**t on purpose to spite me,” she alleged.
In her fiery remarks, Cardi also involved Offset’s mother, Latabia Woodward, accusing her of wrongdoing. “Yeah, you and your mom robbed me cold, wiped my nose,” she said, though she did not provide further details.
Reflecting on her relationship with Offset, Cardi shared how much she supported him during their time together. “I used to pray for this person before I prayed for myself,” she admitted, adding that Offset had once accused her of being “competitive” in their marriage.
The couple’s tumultuous relationship came to a head in July 2024, when Cardi filed for divorce after seven years of marriage. She announced her pregnancy with their third child the very next day.
