Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Reunite with Former Aide to Princess Kate at Invictus Games

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were spotted sharing a friendly exchange with Nick Loughran, a former aide to Princess Kate, during the Invictus Games in Vancouver on Sunday.

The couple was seen engaging in a lively conversation with Loughran while attending the Wheelchair Curling event at Hillcrest Recreation Centre. Harry, 40, introduced Meghan, 43, to Loughran, who greeted the Duchess of Sussex with a handshake before exchanging animated remarks.

Loughran previously served as a senior aide to Prince William and Princess Kate before stepping down from his role at Kensington Palace in 2016. His departure came amid speculation surrounding his romantic life, though he denied any connection between his exit and rumored relationships. Reports suggested that his resignation followed the end of his relationship with Kate’s aide, Rebecca Deacon, and the beginning of his romance with Clara Madden, who formerly worked as Prince Harry’s assistant.

At one point, Harry was seen gesturing toward Loughran as Meghan leaned in to greet him, signaling a cordial and relaxed reunion. The trio appeared at ease, chatting while keeping an eye on the competition.

Throughout the match, Harry and Meghan maintained an enthusiastic presence, cheering on the athletes as Team UKsecured their first medal of the Games.

The Vancouver edition of the Invictus Games features over 500 athletes from 23 countries and will continue for nine days, celebrating the resilience and achievements of wounded service members.
