Jennifer Aniston is reportedly keeping a watchful eye on David Schwimmer’s new relationship with 29-year-old UCLA medical student Eliana Jolkovsky. Sources claim the Friends star is concerned about her longtime co-star dating someone much younger and fears he may get hurt again.
Aniston, 56, has allegedly been “intrusive” about Schwimmer’s love life, unable to hold back her worries.
“Jen can’t help meddling, and David means a great deal to her. She doesn’t think this is a good match!” a source told Radar Online.
Schwimmer, 58, has experienced several ups and downs in his romantic life, similar to his Friends character, Ross Geller. Over the years, he has dated several well-known figures, including Natalie Imbruglia, Gina Lee, Tina Barrett, Carla Alapont, and Mili Avital. He was married to Zoe Buckman, but their relationship ended in divorce in 2017.
Aniston, who has been a close friend of Schwimmer for decades, reportedly believes he would be better off with someone closer to his age. She has seen him go through multiple breakups and fears he might be making the same mistakes again.
“He keeps repeating the same mistake over and over, and Jen has watched him lurch from one relationship to another,”the insider revealed. “She doesn’t want to see him hurt again.”
Despite Aniston’s concerns, Schwimmer appears happy with Jolkovsky. However, only time will tell if their relationship can stand the test of time—or if Aniston’s worries will prove to be right.
