“I first knew Katy Perry and her team were lame as f— when her career was first dying,” Trace began in a video. “And they were like, ‘Hm, what can we do? Well, what worked for Miley? She cut her hair off, it broke the internet, and everyone freaked out. We should do that with you, Katy.'”
Trace was referring to Miley’s bold pixie cut in 2013, a move that turned heads and generated significant media attention. Four years later, Katy Perry made a similar move, opting for a new haircut and a bold look that some say was inspired by Miley’s transformation.

According to Trace, when Perry’s shift into hip-hop and EDM music failed to deliver the expected results, her team turned to another drastic stunt—her 11-minute space flight. “They just tried some EDM song or some s— because EDM’s hot. Didn’t f—ing work, and now they’re going to send your a– to space. Didn’t f—ing work! It’s backfiring,” he said.
