Prince William is allegedly preparing to take decisive action against Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as tensions within the Royal Family continue to escalate.
According to insiders, the Prince of Wales has no plans to reconcile with his estranged brother and sister-in-law, especially after Harry’s recent BBC interview following his failed legal bid to reinstate UK-funded security. The interview reportedly marked a breaking point for William, who was already frustrated by Harry’s repeated public disclosures of royal family matters.
A close friend of the future monarch revealed to The Daily Beast that William sees Harry and Meghan’s behavior as “absolutely vile” and has “no interest in repairing the relationship.” The source added that William is determined to strip the couple of their “His and Her Royal Highness” (HRH) titles once he becomes king—a move that has been previously discussed but now carries renewed urgency.

A former palace aide also confirmed that William views the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as “loose ends” that must be “cut off” from royal institutions to preserve the monarchy’s image. The insider emphasized that there is currently “no direct contact” between the brothers, making a complete and final separation highly likely.
Since the release of Prince Harry’s explosive memoir Spare in 2023, which painted a controversial picture of royal life and his relationship with William, the bond between the two has deteriorated. Royal experts believe the upcoming royal succession presents the perfect opportunity for William to implement key changes—including removing royal titles from the Sussexes.
“The chaos of a royal succession is always a prime moment for decisive action,” a courtier shared. “Expect this to be one of the first things on William’s agenda when he takes the throne.”
As speculation grows over the future of Harry and Meghan’s connection to the monarchy, royal watchers are bracing for a historic and potentially final rift within the royal family.
