Justin Bieber has publicly apologized to his wife, Hailey Bieber, for a harsh comment he made years ago. On May 20, the pop star took to Instagram to reflect on a past argument where he told Hailey she would never grace the cover of Vogue magazine.
Sharing images from Hailey’s recent Vogue photoshoot, Justin admitted, “I told Hails that she would never be on the cover of Vogue. Yikes I know, so mean.” He explained that the comment came from a place of frustration, saying, “I felt disrespected and thought I needed to get even.”

Now, with maturity, Bieber recognizes that seeking revenge only hinders true connection. He wrote, “As we grow, we realize that getting even doesn’t help. It just delays what we really want—intimacy and closeness.” He concluded his message with a heartfelt apology, asking Hailey to forgive him for his wrong words.
During the Vogue interview, Justin praised Hailey’s talents and resilience, calling their marriage “the smartest thing” he’s ever done. He highlighted her effortless style, business acumen, and grace in handling motherhood and public life. Hailey, 28, also shared how Justin’s support has helped her manage the pressures of fame, quoting him saying, “You’re not going to win. There is no winning” when dealing with online criticism.
Justin and Hailey tied the knot in 2018 and recently welcomed their first child, Jack Blues, in August 2024.
