The wait is nearly over for Bridgerton fans. Netflix has officially announced the premiere dates for Season 4 of the hit period drama — and Lady Whistledown is already sharpening her quill for a new season of gossip, romance, and Regency-era intrigue.
“Bridgerton” Season 4 to Release in Two Parts
Much like its previous installment, Bridgerton Season 4 will be split into two parts. According to Netflix, Part 1 will premiere on January 29, 2025, followed by Part 2 on February 26, 2025.
The announcement was accompanied by a new teaser released on October 13, offering fans a tantalizing look at the upcoming love story between Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and Sophie (Yerin Ha) — the next couple to take center stage in the beloved romantic saga.
Netflix Teases New Romance for Benedict Bridgerton
The brief teaser clip gave viewers another glimpse into Benedict’s evolving charm and playful chemistry with Sophie, hinting at a story filled with wit, passion, and the series’ signature elegance.
While plot details remain under wraps, fans familiar with Julia Quinn’s bestselling novels know that Benedict and Sophie’s relationship — inspired by An Offer From a Gentleman — promises a classic fairytale romance with a Bridgerton twist.
Seasons 5 and 6 Already Confirmed
Netflix has also assured fans that the Bridgerton universe will continue to grow. The streamer has renewed the series for Seasons 5 and 6, solidifying its commitment to adapting all eight books from Julia Quinn’s series.
In an earlier interview with The Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Jess Brownell acknowledged that the long gap between seasons can be frustrating for viewers but emphasized the complexity of production.
“We are working to try and put the seasons out more quickly,” Brownell explained. “But they do take about eight months to film and then must be edited and dubbed into every language.”
Julia Quinn Hopes to See All Bridgerton Siblings Take the Lead
Author Julia Quinn also expressed her excitement about the show’s future, saying that the goal remains to explore each sibling’s romantic journey.
“My hope is that all the siblings will eventually take the lead because we love them all,” Quinn said.
With Bridgerton continuing to dominate global viewership and cultural conversations, the return of Lady Whistledown is sure to deliver another season of lavish scandal, emotional depth, and irresistible charm.
