Kim Kardashian may be ready to turn the page on her reality TV era — or at least take a step back from it.
According to a report from Radar Online, the 43-year-old star has grown increasingly uninterested in continuing with her family’s long-running reality show, The Kardashians, on Hulu.
A source close to the American Horror Story actress revealed that while Kim “doesn’t want to let her mom, Kris Jenner, or the family down,” the truth is that “doing the show is the last thing on her priority list” right now.

The insider explained that Kim has been struggling to balance her many responsibilities, from managing her businesses to raising her four children and pursuing her legal career.
“Kim has reached the point where she has to be realistic about her bandwidth,” the source shared. “Between her growing business empire, her four kids, and her ambitions with social justice and her law career, there just aren’t enough hours in the day — something’s got to give.”
Although Kim has not officially confirmed plans to leave The Kardashians, insiders believe she is considering scaling back her on-screen appearances rather than cutting ties completely.
Kim, who passed California’s “baby bar” exam in 2021 after several attempts, continues to work toward becoming a licensed attorney through her law apprenticeship program in San Francisco. Her dedication to criminal justice reform has reportedly taken up more of her time in recent years.
The news has reportedly caused tension within the Kardashian-Jenner household, especially with matriarch Kris Jenner, who views Kim as the backbone of the family brand.
“It’s a nightmare for Kris because Kim is still the fan favorite and she’s also the only one her mom can fully count on,” another insider explained. “Kim is still insisting it can work, but Kris is freaking out.”
Still, Kim reportedly believes her sisters — Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie — can take on more responsibility for the show.
“She thinks it’s only fair,” the source said. “They wouldn’t even have the life they have if it wasn’t for her.”
While Kim Kardashian has built her global empire on reality TV fame, it seems her focus has shifted toward personal growth, family, and making an impact beyond the screen — signaling that even for one of Hollywood’s busiest women, priorities can change.
