King Charles III Confronted by Protester Over Prince Andrew During Lichfield Engagement

King Charles III encountered an unexpected confrontation during his royal engagement in Lichfield on Monday, October 27, when a protester raised questions about Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein.

While greeting the crowd outside Lichfield Cathedral, the protester shouted:

“How long have you known about Andrew and Epstein?”

The tense moment was quickly drowned out by chants of “God Save The King” from supportive members of the crowd. Fans had gathered from both the UK and the US to see the monarch, waving flags, holding posters, and photographing the event.

Earlier, King Charles visited the National Memorial Arboretum, meeting serving and former members of the armed forces, before heading to the cathedral for a walkabout.

The outing also marked a historic moment as the King unveiled a memorial dedicated to LGBT+ military personnel, his first official engagement in support of the community.

This public appearance comes amid ongoing drama surrounding Prince Andrew, who is reportedly poised to leave Royal Lodge after over 20 years of unpaid rent.

Despite the brief protest, the monarch continued to engage warmly with the public, shaking hands and speaking with community members and volunteers.
