Billie Eilish is opening up about her thoughts on aging, beauty standards, and the pressure of staying young in the entertainment industry—revealing she is embracing the natural process rather than resisting it.
The Grammy-winning artist shared her reflections during an appearance on Amy Poehler’s podcast Good Hang, where she spoke candidly about her future, her body, and her evolving perspective on life.
‘I’m excited to age’
Eilish, now 24, said she has come to accept—and even look forward to—getting older.
“I am so excited to age, and I’m so excited for my face to age and my body to age, and not change it,” she said, adding that she does not plan to undergo cosmetic surgery.
She reflected on how, as a teenager, she once believed her identity was already fixed, only to realize over time that personal growth continues far beyond youth.
Rejecting cosmetic surgery culture
The “Bad Guy” singer also addressed beauty pressures in the public eye, expressing her desire to remain natural.
She emphasized that she wants her appearance to reflect her real life experience over time, rather than being altered by procedures.
Eilish said she hopes her future children will see a version of her that feels authentic and unmodified.
Past reflections on family and motherhood
This is not the first time Eilish has spoken about children and family life.
In a previous interview, she expressed strong feelings about wanting children in the future, even discussing how important it would be for her to guide them through life and values.
Career momentum continues
Alongside her personal reflections, Eilish remains active professionally.
She recently released her concert film Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour and confirmed that her upcoming fourth album is already more than halfway complete, signaling another major era in her career.
