A Russian drone overnight attacked the port infrastructure in the Odesa region of Ukraine causing a lot of damage to the grain hanger, Kyiv military said.
Kyiv’s southern military command reported the attack via Telgram, it said that Tonight, a four-hour attack by ‘Shahed-136’ drones was headed at the Danube’s port infrastructure in the Odesa region.
The report added that the grain hanger was destroyed and tanks that were for storing several types of cargo were seriously damaged followed by drone attacks.
Kyiv air defense already eliminated three of the drones that were operated to strike, the Kyiv military said. It added that the drone strikes caused the injury of four workers at the port, but the details are still being clarified.
Russian attacks on Ukraine’s Odesa increased since Moscow pulled out of a key deal that had permitted the safe export of Ukraine’s grain on the Black Sea. Then Moscow’s authorities declared that they would target every ship as their military targets that will be headed to Ukraine’s grain ports on the Black Sea.
