Counter-Strike 2 is causing tremendous anticipation after the release date for much awaited CS2 was finally revealed. The new game by Valve will probably enjoy global popularity upon launch, particularly regarding that Counter-Strike: Global Offensive still boasts over a million active players daily.
Until now, Valve said it would be released “during the summer”, but maybe they didn’t see their calendars, because we’re at the end of September now.
Valve finally broke the silence, by posting a highly suspicious question on Twitter.

It is likely, that Counter-Strike 2 won’t feature ranked matchmaking for the first days or weeks, since players need to get used to the new game. So we think CS2 will be released in early September.
