Supermodel Bella Hadid recently addressed the topic of toxic exes with a firm stance during a promotional event for her new fragrance line in London. In an interview with ELLE UK, when asked what scent would help someone win back a toxic ex, Bella didn’t hold back.
“Don’t make up with your toxic ex,” the 28-year-old model replied bluntly, making it clear that her fragrances are not meant for rekindling unhealthy relationships. “We’re not doing that in 2025,” she added, signaling a strong message about moving forward and setting boundaries.
Bella, known for her candidness, also opened up about her own struggles with emotionally damaging relationships. In a 2022 Victoria’s Secret VS Voices podcast episode, she revealed how people-pleasing and lack of boundaries affected her personal and professional life.
“I constantly went back to men – and also, women – that had abused me,” Bella shared, highlighting the challenges she faced with boundaries not just emotionally, but also in her work environment.
Apart from her empowering message on self-respect, Bella shared a glimpse into her personal life, revealing her love language. “My love language is definitely food,” she told ELLE UK, describing how she enjoys cooking and feeding loved ones, especially when at home in Texas. “I think the best way to somebody’s heart is through their stomach,” she said, showing a softer side behind her strong persona.
Bella Hadid’s fresh fragrance launch is now tied to a message of self-care and empowerment, encouraging fans to prioritize their well-being and avoid falling back into toxic patterns.
This bold approach reinforces Bella’s role not just as a fashion icon but as a voice of strength and honesty in today’s culture.
