Blake Lively’s legal representatives are pushing back hard against her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni, accusing him and his team of leaking confidential details from her recent legal deposition to the media in an effort to create a misleading narrative.
On Monday, Lively’s attorneys filed a motion claiming that Baldoni’s camp shared selective information with the press immediately following the actress’s July 31 deposition. According to the documents, the alleged leak was a calculated move to portray the legal event as a dramatic face-off between the two stars.
The motion states that Baldoni’s side “immediately leaked details from the deposition to the tabloid media” in an attempt to “advance a storyline that the deposition was a face-to-face showdown between Mr. Baldoni and Ms. Lively” — a narrative her team describes as false and meant to “create a media circus.”

Reports from outlets like TMZ noted Baldoni’s appearance at the deposition, which was held at Lively’s lawyer’s office in New York City. Meanwhile, Daily Mail reported that the actress arrived with her sister Robyn Lively, husband Ryan Reynolds, and eight lawyers — a detail some publications framed as evidence that Lively was anxious or in need of support.
However, Lively’s legal team firmly denied that impression, clarifying that the number of attendees on both sides was more balanced than the reports suggested. The actress reportedly gave her deposition across the table from Baldoni himself, as well as individuals including Jamey Heath, Steve Sarowitz, Melissa Nathan, and Jennifer Abel. Additionally, eight lawyers were present for the Wayfarer and Wallace Parties, with two of them questioning Lively directly.
The motion appears to be part of a broader legal dispute involving the It Ends With Us production. While exact details remain under wraps, the tension between Lively and Baldoni’s teams seems to be escalating both inside and outside the courtroom.
As of now, neither Lively’s nor Baldoni’s legal teams have issued public responses to inquiries from Page Six regarding the new filing.
