Brad Pitt has thrilled fans with his unexpected role in the new Netflix series Adolescence, proving once again that his influence extends beyond the big screen.
The Fight Club star, known for his legendary Hollywood career, took on the role of executive producer for the four-part series, adding his creative expertise to the project.
In an interview on The Rest is Entertainment podcast, director Philip Barantini opened up about Pitt’s involvement, recalling how surreal it was to collaborate with the A-list actor.

“When we were pitching to Plan B, they kept saying, ‘We’re just waiting for Brad’s schedule.’ I thought, ‘It can’t be thatBrad.’ But sure enough, there he was on the Zoom—such a lovely human being and a remarkably hands-on producer,” Barantini shared.
He praised Pitt’s dedication, adding, “He gave feedback, shared ideas, and was so engaged throughout the process. He couldn’t visit the shoot because of his F1 project, but having someone like Brad Pitt involved—and so invested—was incredible. I’d love to work with him again.”
Directed by Jack Thorne and Stephen Graham, Adolescence has become a major success, racking up an impressive 66.3 million views within just two weeks. The 2025 series follows the journey of a 13-year-old boy, Jamie Miller, and has quickly become a fan favorite.
Meanwhile, Pitt remains busy with his upcoming F1 project, where he is collaborating with British racing champion Lewis Hamilton on what is expected to be another blockbuster venture.
