Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, once considered Hollywood’s power couple, finalized their long-drawn divorce in December 2024 after an intense eight-year legal battle. While they share three biological children, they also adopted three kids from various orphanages during their relationship — Pax, Maddox, and Zahara.
Now, fresh reports suggest that Brad Pitt is contemplating severing ties with two of his adopted sons, Pax and Maddox, due to ongoing tension and strained relationships. The rift allegedly began when Jolie filed for divorce in 2016, and over the years, the bond between Pitt and his sons has reportedly deteriorated further.
According to sources close to the family, the Bullet Train actor believes the two boys have been negatively influenced by their upbringing under Jolie’s care. Pitt reportedly views Pax’s recent behavior — including alleged reckless driving and wild outings — as a direct result of poor parenting.

“He has zero concern with what Pax does or doesn’t do. Pax’s actions reflect who he is,” a source told Daily Mail. The insider further added, “Brad honestly considers his relationship with Pax unfixable.”
While these reports may come as a shock to fans, those who have followed the family’s public drama may find the development less surprising. Pax has openly criticized Pitt in the past, and Maddox has also distanced himself from his adoptive father, once reportedly refusing to even use his last name.
As of now, Brad Pitt has not issued a public statement regarding these reports, but the ongoing family feud continues to draw media attention, raising questions about the future dynamics of the Jolie-Pitt children.
