BTS, the global sensation, is set to face a temporary hiatus as members Jungkook and Jimin prepare to commence their military services simultaneously, according to an official announcement from the group’s agency, BIGHIT MUSIC. The agency also revealed enlistment plans for RM and V, each following their respective procedures. However, BIGHIT MUSIC emphasized that there will be no official ceremony for the enlistment to avoid potential issues related to crowding.

Jimin and Jungkook are scheduled to enlist together, signifying a joint venture into their mandatory military service. In contrast, RM and V will undertake their enlistment through individual procedures. The agency urged fans, known as the BTS Army, to refrain from visiting the enlistment site and emphasized that the entrance ceremony is reserved for military personnel and their families.

In a statement, BIGHIT MUSIC addressed fans, stating, “Please convey your warm regards and encouragement in your hearts only.” The agency called for the BTS Army’s continuous support for RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook throughout their military service and urged fans to understand the necessity of limiting gatherings during the enlistment process.

Prior to the official announcement, one of the BTS members, Seven, penned a heartfelt note for fans on Weverse, expressing a mix of emotions about his impending military service starting in December. He acknowledged the heaviness of the news while reminiscing about the precious memories with the ARMYs, the devoted fan base.

As the individual members embark on their military journeys, reports suggest that BTS, as a collective, is expected to reunite in 2025. The news adds a layer of anticipation for fans eagerly awaiting the group’s return after fulfilling their mandatory service.

BTS’s upcoming enlistments mark a significant moment for the global music phenomenon. The agency’s clear communication and the members’ heartfelt messages set the tone for the BTS Army to extend unwavering support throughout this phase, eagerly anticipating the eventual reunion in 2025.
