On Wednesday, June 11, just 24 hours after Jungkook’s highly anticipated military discharge, a woman believed to be a Chinese national in her 30s reportedly attempted to break into the singer’s residence. According to police reports, she had traveled to South Korea specifically to witness Jungkook’s return.
Surveillance footage allegedly captured the woman punching random numbers into the security lock of Jungkook’s apartment in an effort to gain unauthorized entry. Thankfully, security intervened, and the woman was arrested for trespassing, as confirmed by BBC.

The incident triggered intense backlash from BTS fans, collectively known as ARMY, who took to social media platforms to voice their anger and frustration.
