Cassie Ventura, the former longtime partner of Sean “Diddy” Combs, took the stand in a New York courtroom on May 13, delivering powerful testimony as a key witness in the ongoing federal sex trafficking case against the music mogul.
Ventura, who dated Combs for over a decade, revealed shocking details of alleged abuse, including being forced to participate in disturbing acts during their relationship. One of the most disturbing revelations involved an inflatable pool filled with baby oil, which Cassie claims Diddy pressured her to enter inside a hotel room, despite her resistance.

“I didn’t want to get in the pool,” Ventura stated in court, “but when Sean wanted something, it was going to happen.”
The testimony is part of a broader federal case accusing Combs of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting individuals for prostitution. Ventura also detailed multiple instances of being coerced into so-called “Freak Offs,” which involved sexual encounters with male escorts allegedly orchestrated by Combs.
According to prosecutors, a raid on Combs’ homes led to the discovery of around 1,000 bottles of baby oil, though his legal team disputes that figure. “You may know of his love for baby oil — but is that a federal crime?” defense attorney Teny Geragos told the jury.
Ventura’s civil lawsuit against Combs in November 2023, which alleged rape and assault, was quickly settled, but her case opened the floodgates for multiple other civil suits with similar accusations.
Now testifying publicly for the first time, Ventura described years of emotional and physical abuse, claiming that fear dominated much of her relationship with the hip-hop icon. Her courtroom presence was marked by composure, though her testimony exposed a pattern of manipulation and exploitation she said she endured behind closed doors.
Combs has denied all allegations and pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The trial is ongoing, with Ventura’s testimony expected to be a critical element in the prosecution’s case.
