BTS members V (Kim Taehyung) and RM (Kim Namjoon) finally emerged while receiving their military training in the army camp days after anticipation. On Tuesday, both singers proudly completed their five-week training and graduated with flying colors, celebrating an important milestone in their mandatory service.
The particular occasion carried joy to fans worldwide, who were treated to celebratory photos uploaded to Instagram by RM himself. The images showcased the boys sporting their crisp military uniforms and striking determined salutes. While RM flashed a confident smile, V maintained a serious expression, both saluting and hinting at his dedication throughout the rigorous training.
Their exceptional performance earned them a prestigious distinction. Korean media outlets revealed that V and RM were among only six trainees named “Elite” graduates, recognized for their outstanding efforts.
Unsurprisingly, BTS ARMY erupted in a craze on social media, pouring the duo with heartfelt congratulations and messages of pride. Sharing the joy, fans flooded platforms like X with celebratory tweets and posts. Many emphasized the importance of official updates from the members themselves, condemning leaked photos and videos that surfaced during their training.
However, the jubilation was somewhat tainted by another leaked video of the graduation ceremony. While the clip provided a glimpse into the special moment, the unauthorized release prompted renewed calls for respecting the privacy of BTS during their service.
With their training complete, V and RM will now move on to their designated units. Reports indicate that V has chosen an elite role within the Special Task Force of the Army’s Capital Defense Command, requiring an additional three-week training at the Army General Administration School.
BTS fans can now look forward to updates from the boys as they fulfill their remaining military duties, knowing that their hard work and dedication have already earned them well-deserved recognition. The journey may be temporary, but the pride in their achievements will echo long after their return.
