Professional footballer and legend Cristiano Ronaldo has launched an all-new project along with English director Matthew Vaughn. The former Manchester United player has partnered with the Kingsman film franchise creator to launch a film studio named, UR MARV.
Reportedly, both are super delighted for this new venture and are even planning on releasing a trilogy of action films soon.
Ronaldo’s team posted the new update on his social media account, where they mentioned that the 40-year-old is excited for the ‘new chapter’.
The statement read, “Cristiano Ronaldo loves movies; Matthew Vaughn loves sport – and they both love a good story.”
“Both have been disruptive champions at their game and will now combine the world of sport and storytelling through the launch of UR MARV, an independent joint venture film studio embracing innovative technology, with a nod to tradition.”
The globally acclaimed striker expressed, “This is an exciting chapter for me, as I look ahead to new ventures in business.”
The statement released by the team also mentioned that Ronaldo and Vaughn have already financed and produced two movies. The duo is about to kickstart filming of a third film.
The new partners will be announcing the release of the films very soon.
