Eminem, known for his unapologetic lyrics, didn’t hold back in his new album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce), where he instantly targeted Diddy over recent controversies.
The 51-year-old rapper delved into several contentious incidents involving the music mogul, including the 2016 surveillance footage allegedly showing Diddy assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura and accusations regarding Kid Cudi’s car.
In the track titled Antichrist, his lyrics didn’t mince words. “Next idiot ask me is gettin’ his a** beat worse than Diddy did,” he rapped, referencing the infamous incident.
Eminem’s track Bad One has reignited past controversies involving Diddy, specifically referencing the alleged car bombing of Kid Cudi’s vehicle.
The incident, reportedly linked to Diddy’s displeasure over Cudi’s brief relationship with Cassie, was highlighted in the lyrics: “The f**king bomb with the Puffy on / I’m blowing up for Kid Cudi’s car / In front of his house where all his buddies are.”
This accusation stems from a lawsuit filed by Cassie in 2023 against Diddy, where she claimed he orchestrated the car bombing among other serious allegations.
Kid Cudi corroborated her account in a 2023 interview with the New York Times, confirming the incident’s authenticity.
Diddy, who has faced multiple legal challenges including allegations of sexual assault, denied all accusations against him.
Recent federal raids on his Miami and Los Angeles homes as part of a sex trafficking investigation have further intensified scrutiny around the music mogul.
