Jay-Z recently made a public appearance with Beyoncé at the Mufasa: The Lion King premiere in Los Angeles for their daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
On December 9, the singer and Blue Ivy appeared at the premiere alongside movie co-stars Aaron Pierre, Seth Rogen, and Billy Eichner as well as director Barry Jenkins.
Later, on Monday night, Beyoncé also took to Instagram and gushed over her “gorgeous baby girl” as she posted premiere photos.
In the caption, the songstress wrote, “This is your night. You worked hard and you did such a beautiful job as the voice of Kiara. Your family could not be prouder. Keep shining.”
Meanwhile, Jay-Z’s red carpet appearance came one day after he was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000 along with Sean “Diddy” Combs in a lawsuit refiled on Sunday.
Jay-Z however responded to the lawsuit on December 8, calling the allegations “idiotic” and part of a “blackmail attempt”.
In a statement, the rapper said, “My only heartbreak is for my family. My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of people.”
“I mourn yet another loss of innocence. Children should not have to endure such at their young age,” it read.
Jay-Z added in a statement, “It is unfair to have to try to understand inexplicable degrees of malice meant to destroy families and the human spirit.”
