Jennifer Garner shared ‘nerdy farm facts’ and offered a fun crash course in pumpkin growth on her TikTok and Instagram.

On Sunday, August 25, the Elektra star shared a playful and educational video about the journey of pumpkins from seedlings to full-sized fruit.

“Nerdy Farm Facts: Pumpkins,” she captioned the post, dressed in dungarees over a casual T-shirt and ready for her role as a part-time pumpkin professor.

“This flower is both male and female,” Garner, 54, kicked off her lesson. Then broke down the next step, saying, “There’s a pistil inside, and it needs pollen. Do you know who helps with that? Bees! Thank you for the bees!”

As the flower matures, she explained, “Once the pollen falls onto the pistil, the miracle continues, and the pumpkin can start to grow.”

“This is when you get the email that says, ‘Congratulations, Mama Pumpkin. Your baby is the size of a large grape!'” quipped the actress, that made a cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine.

The video then shows Garner demonstrating the pumpkin’s growth, saying, “It keeps growing and growing and growing,” while pointing out how the flower curls which “eventually dries off” or sometimes looks like a “little umbilical cord” that sometimes remains attached, she similizes.

“Dear Mama, congratulations,” ending her mini-lesson, the Family Switch actress humorously said, holding up two unripe pumpkins. “Today your pumpkins are a nice size B. And they keep growing and growing until they become big, beautiful pumpkins.”

The clip wraps up with Garner sitting proudly among large, ripe pumpkins.
