Jennifer Lopez makes first statement as she make first public appearance following Ben Affleck divorce rumours. Lopez appeared at the Jimmy Kimmel Show where she mentioned Affleck, 51, while sharing a story about meeting Barbra Streisand.
The Marry Me star revealed that Streisand was “asking me to look at my engagement ring at the time — that Ben had given me — years ago.”
The Hollywood legend had ogled that ring, saying, ‘So that’s a big diamond,’ to which Lopez responded, “Yes, it is!”
The Atlas star chose to wear a simple silver band on her ring finger. The singer kept it on afterwards as she walked the red carpet of Atlas at Los Angeles premiere without the Batman star.
It was her latest first big sighting without Affleck, fuelling marital tensions at all-time high between the two.
Earlier this month, the couple said to hit a rough patch in their wedding.
According to a source told US Weekly, the two are residing separately to figure out their future.
“Jen and Ben are having issues in their marriage,” the insider explained.
They started having issues a few months ago as Jen had started ramping up work commitments and prepping for her tour.
The source further told about the On the Floor crooner that she is “very focused on work” as she is getting in shape to kick off her This Is Me … Live tour next month in Orlando.
“They are on two completely different pages most of the time,” the insider told the outlet about the couple, who got married in June 2022.
