Sophie Turner was shown connecting arms with Taylor Swift on Tuesday as they relished a night out in New York City. The duo headed to Temple Bar on Lafayette Street after dining at a restaurant.
For their girls’ night, Turner sported a gray cropped top with baggy matching pants. She also carried a black purse while her black sweater was tied around her waist.
Swift looked trendy in her red mini-dress and an oversized denim jacket. She also sported brown knee-high boots and held a small green purse.
The hanging outcome after Joe Jonas filed for divorce from Turner earlier this month after four years of marriage. According to documents, the filing asserted “the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken.”
Turner and Jonas also shared a common statement on their Instagram pages where they urged the separation was a joint decision.
The ex-pair share a daughter Willa and a second daughter, who was identified as “D.,14 months,” in the divorce documents.
Swift was romantically connected to Jonas in 2008 with the then 18-year-old “Style” singer saying to Ellen DeGeneres that Jonas broke up with her in a 27-second phone call.
In a 2018 MySpace post, Jonas also revealed the separation, demonstrating that he was not the one to end their conversation so suddenly. He added that certain “issues” led to a “change of heart,” with concerns about their relationship.
Jonas said, “For those who have voiced concern over the ’27 second’ phone call, I called to concern feelings with the other person. “Those feelings were not well accepted. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk.”
Swift who recently received a record nine MTV Music Awards has been maintaining herself engaged since her wins.
