Vernon and Hoshi, two members of the popular K-pop group Seventeen, recently shared their interests and passions in a new pictorial for Vogue Korea. The group, known for their dynamic performances and catchy songs, recently released their latest comeback titled FML on April 24th.
In the pictorial, Hoshi spoke about his interest in fashion and how it relates to his performances. He revealed that he draws inspiration from various sources but tries to create something unique that reflects his personal style. Hoshi also emphasized the importance of the right outfit in a dancer’s performance, saying, “Anyone who dances can relate to this, but if you don’t like the clothes you’re wearing for practice, your body won’t move properly.”
The Seventeen member also shared a glimpse into his daily routine, saying that he usually coordinates two to three outfits the night before and decides which one to wear in the morning, depending on how he feels. Hoshi’s passion for fashion has also led him to design clothes and accessories for his own label, Soshihan, which he launched in 2020.
Meanwhile, Vernon discussed his love for movies and visual media. Despite his busy schedule as a K-pop idol, he makes sure to watch movies before falling asleep three to four times a week, calling it a “break” for him. The Seventeen member expressed his desire to pursue something meaningful in the film industry, saying, “I want to do something worthwhile in the film field, even though I don’t have specific plans yet.”
Vernon, who was born in New York and raised in Korea, has also showcased his talents in the music and entertainment industry as a rapper, songwriter, and television personality. He has previously collaborated with other artists and released his own mixtape titled “Moodz” in 2019.
Seventeen has been active in the music industry since their debut in 2015 and has gained a massive following both domestically and internationally. The group is known for their synchronized performances, diverse music genres, and their unique concept of having three sub-units with different musical styles.
In the Vogue Korea pictorial, Vernon and Hoshi showcased their individual charms and talents, giving fans a glimpse into their interests and personalities outside of their music careers. With their latest comeback, “FML,” the group continues to impress fans with their music and performances, proving that they are one of the top K-pop groups in the industry today.
