During a recent interview with W Magazine, French-American actress Lily-Rose Depp opened up about her highly anticipated role in the HBO series “The Idol”. Depp shared the stars that inspired her performance as Jocelyn in the show and discussed her experience filming one of the scenes.

Depp admitted to being a fan of pop icon Britney Spears, saying “Who doesn’t love Britney?”. She also drew inspiration from other big names in the music industry, including Beyoncé and Mariah Carey. She aimed to portray Jocelyn as a powerful, confident woman who commands attention and isn’t afraid to shine.

The actress won the role by performing an acapella version of the classic song “Fever”, which has been covered by the likes of Peggy Lee and Madonna. She went on to film a scene at the SoFi Stadium in front of 70,000 fans ahead of The Weeknd’s concert.

Depp confessed to being incredibly nervous before filming the scene, feeling like she was getting ready for her wedding with her glamorous white attire. However, she managed to pull off the scene brilliantly, nailing it in just two takes. She even described the experience as “addicting”, not wanting to leave the set.

Lily-Rose Depp’s portrayal of Jocelyn in “The Idol” has generated a lot of buzz and excitement, and fans can’t wait to see the actress in action. With her impressive performance skills and diverse inspirations, Depp is sure to be a standout in the series.
