Park Sung Hoon became embroiled in a controversy after uploading an NSFW image on his Instagram account that featured an Adult Video cover inspired by the Netflix hit series Squid Game.
The photo, which showed numerous nude female actors, was quickly deleted, but not before stunning netizens.
Firstly, speculation arose that Park’s account had been hacked, but his agency confirmed it was an accidental upload.
In reply to the mishap, Park’s agency, BH Entertainment, addressed the issue on the 30th, describing the accident.
“Park Sung Hoon must have accidentally pressed the wrong button while checking the many DMs he received, and it ended up on his story. The actor himself was very surprised and is reflecting on his actions. He will work hard to make sure this never happens again,” a representative told Korean news agency, Maeil Kyungjae’s Star Today.
Park Sung Hoon has been in the spotlight for his role as Jo Hyun-joo, a transgender, in Squid Game 2, which premiered on Netflix on December 26.
The incident has sparked fan discussions, with some expressing disappointment and others accepting his apology.
