Selena Gomez never stops cheering for her pal Taylor Swift as the Eras Tour performer gets support from her best friend following a rude remark.

The Disney alum, 32, gave a nod to Swift, at the Emmys, on Sunday, after the popstar was the target of some rude remarks from politicians.

The Only Murders in the Building actress was called on stage to present the first award of the ceremony accompanied by her co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin.

Short and Martin created a light-hearted mood on stage, all jokingly poking fun at each other.

Short, 74, quipped, “Steve, let me say what an honour it is to be working with someone who looks like he’s fallen and can’t get up.”

Martin struck back, saying, “And let me say what an honour it is for me to be working with someone who looks like a former women’s tennis champion.”

Taking part in the banter, Selena added, “And let me say, what an honour it is to work with two men who are this far away from being childless cat ladies,” referencing Swift’s latest Instagram post where she endorsed Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign.

The Anti-Hero hitmaker broke the internet with the endorsement post, signing it off as “childless cat lady,” the remark J.D. Vance used, to taunt Kamala.

Following the Swiftie joke, the Only Murders in the Building stars announced that the Love You Like a Love Song songstress is a first-time nominee this year at the Emmys.
