Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were officially spotted together as the couple was captured leaving Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Sunday night with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end by her side.
As the duo walked together on their way out of the building, Swift smiled at the camera and seemed to say “bye.” Kelce, dressed in a patterned two-piece outfit, also hit a smile and short nod to the camera.
The “Lavender Haze” singer was part of the audience cheering on the Chiefs in their match against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. She watched the on-field game from Kelce’s suite with the athlete’s mom, Donna Kelce. The duo could be noticed sitting shoulder-to-shoulder and talking and laughing together throughout the match.
Swift showed her team spirit by sporting a red-and-white Chiefs jacket, which was later tied around her waist as she exited the stadium. Footage from the match showed the singer smiling, cheering, and clapping enthusiastically as she saw Kelce and his teammates. At one moment, she even raised her hands in excitement.
The recent appearance of Swift comes days after Kelce asked her to attend the game while appearing on The Pat McAfee Show podcast. A source said that once Swift heard about the invite, she didn’t allow a busy schedule to prevent her from accepting.
On Thursday’s podcast, host Pat McAfee questioned Kelce if he wanted to “expand upon” the rumors that he and Swift are dating, which is “being gossiped about by the world right now.”
Though he wouldn’t confirm at the moment whether he and Swift had met in person, he did share that he “threw the ball in her court.”
“I’ve watched you rock the stage at Arrowhead,” he told McAfee. “You might have to come watch me rock the stage at Arrowhead and see which one’s a little more lit.”
It turned out to be a pleasing night for Swift to see Kelce in action, as he scored an amazing touchdown during the match.
With only seven minutes left in the third quarter, Kelce caught the ball in the back of the end zone, setting his team up 41-0 over the Bears. After his touchdown, Swift was caught jumping up and down in the suite.
The Chiefs won the match with a final score of 41-10.
