Since last week, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been making headlines following the pop star attended last week’s Kansas City Chiefs star match at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.
The “Lavender Haze” singer was part of the audience cheering on the Chiefs in their match against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. She watched the on-field game from Kelce’s suite with the athlete’s mom, Donna Kelce, then left the stadium with the athlete for the after-party dinner at a restaurant. The ongoing rumor of Swift’s romance with Kelce follows following her month-long fling with the controversial The 1975 frontman, Matty Healy.
According to Kamie Crawford, Catfish co-host, Swift is using the NFL player to distract from her last love story with Healy. She said on a following episode of Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast that the “PR for that went bad and the PR for this is doing well.”
She said of Healy, “I used to love The 1975, and still love some of the songs. But he’s made some very problematic comments.”
Crawford said, “[Swift] was in a long-term relationship. Then she was in a relationship with someone that wasn’t good. And I think people are skipping over that. I think people are thinking that, like, Healy was the rebound guy.”
The 12-time Grammy winner and Healy flared romance rumors in May and briefly broke up in June.
Kelce has increasingly become famous among the Swifties, specifically after the viral sighting of the two together. Kelce also made his first public remarks on the outing on his podcast, “Shout out to Taylor for pulling up. That was pretty ballsy. She looked amazing.”
He added, “I just believed it was awesome how everyone in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her. You know, the friends and family.
