The musical world is gearing up to pay homage to Celine Dion’s timeless 1995 album “D’eux,” a groundbreaking work that has earned the distinction of being the best-selling French-language album of all time. Written and produced by the talented Jean-Jacques Goldman, this album has left an indelible mark on the landscape of music, and now, top Canadian and French musicians are uniting to celebrate its enduring impact.

Presenting “Pour toi Céline – Tribute to the album D’eux,” a special television program produced by SISMYK as part of the Super Franco Fête. This remarkable event has secured international distribution rights through Amuz Distribution, promising a global audience the chance to relive the magic. The tribute is set to be recorded on the Agora stage in the Port of Quebec on September 3 and will later grace the screens of TVA in Quebec and the channels within the M6 Group in France.

The lineup for this extraordinary homage reads like a who’s who of the music world, with luminaries including Isabelle Boulay, Corneille, Roch Voisine, Véronic DiCaire, Mario Pelchat, Bruno Pelletier, Camille Lellouche, Amir, Christophe Willem, Élodie Frégé, Anggun, Chimène Badi, Vincent Niclo, Axelle Red, Ycare, and Anne Sila. These talented artists will breathe new life into the tracks from “D’eux,” as well as other cherished songs from Celine Dion’s collaboration with Jean-Jacques Goldman.

Adding authenticity and heart to the tribute, several of Celine Dion’s closest collaborators will grace the stage. Scott Price, her musical director since 2015, will step into the role of musical director for the event. With the support of musicians and backup singers who have been part of Dion’s famed Las Vegas extravaganza, Price and his team are poised to capture the essence of Celine Dion’s signature style and bring it to the tribute stage.

As fans around the world eagerly await Celine Dion’s return to the stage following the postponement of her Courage World Tour due to her battle with Stiff-Person Syndrome, this tribute becomes a poignant celebration of her remarkable musical journey. The tribute not only pays homage to her enduring legacy but also celebrates the unforgettable impact of the album “D’eux,” reminding us all of the power of music to transcend time and touch the hearts of generations.
