Chris Hemsworth opens up about performing with Ed Sheeran in Romania and the emotional toll of filming his hit series, Limitless.
Actor Chris Hemsworth recently looked back on one of the most unforgettable experiences of his life — joining Ed Sheeran on stage during a live concert in Romania. The Thor star, 41, shared the memory during a Q&A session, as reported by The Independent, describing the surreal feeling of playing drums in front of thousands.

“It was very much a kind of out-of-body experience,” Hemsworth said, referring to the moment he performed alongside Sheeran, known for global hits like Shape of You. “There’s something about being in unison and in time with not just a band, but a massive group of people.”
The Extraction actor likened the experience to a “universal prayer”, emphasizing the power of collective energy and shared emotion. “It felt like everyone had the same intention, pointing toward something positive. It was kind of beyond me at that point — I was just floating along for the ride,” he added.
Hemsworth’s drumming skills, it turns out, were honed while filming Limitless: Live Better Now, a National Geographic series that explores human potential through extreme physical and mental challenges.
Speaking about the first season, which premiered to critical acclaim, the Avengers star admitted, “It almost killed me — emotionally and physically — and that was by design.”
Now, with Season 2 on the horizon, Hemsworth teased the new direction the show will take. “We discussed what to tackle next, what new science is out there, and how we can expand on the themes we explored in the first season.”
In one daring segment of the upcoming episodes, Hemsworth climbs a frozen 600-foot wall, pushing his limits to discover the benefits of stepping far outside one’s comfort zone.
The new season of Limitless: Live Better Now is set to premiere on Disney+ on August 15, and fans can expect more thrilling, thought-provoking challenges from the actor who continues to inspire on-screen and off.
