The eagerly awaited Dune: Part Two is set to grace theaters on March 1, bringing back stars Florence Pugh and Timothée Chalamet in the epic sci-fi saga. In a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the cast members opened up about their experiences on set, rubbing shoulders with Hollywood legends such as Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, Rebecca Ferguson, and Dave Bautista.

During the interview, Jimmy Kimmel delved into the dynamics of working with established industry icons, prompting the young cast to share candid insights.

“They were more wild than us, honestly,” confessed Timothée Chalamet, adding a surprising twist to the expectations of the Hollywood lifestyle.

Curious, Kimmel probed further, questioning the young actors about their encounters with these seasoned stars.

“I feel like we’re the tamest four 20-year-old actors you can find in LA, really. The most extravagant thing we do is get dinner,” replied Timothée, offering a glimpse into the down-to-earth nature of the Dune: Part Two ensemble.

As the conversation unfolded, the cast members, including Zendaya and Austin Butler, shed light on the camaraderie on set. Florence Pugh chimed in with amusing anecdotes about Hollywood legends Javier Bardem and Josh Brolin, revealing that the two were “properly intimidated” when Oscar winner Christopher Walken made an appearance.

“They became little boys, like tails between their legs. Babies. It was adorable,” Florence added, painting a picture of endearing interactions behind the scenes.

Dune: Part Two has faced delays due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, leading to a rescheduled release date. Initially set for October 20, 2023, the sequel was moved to November 17 and eventually to March 2024.

Directed by Denis Villeneuve, both Dune: Part One and Part Two are adaptations of Frank Herbert’s timeless 1965 novel. The films promise to captivate audiences with their immersive storytelling, stunning visuals, and a star-studded cast, making Dune: Part Two one of the most anticipated cinematic experiences of the year. As fans eagerly await the next chapter in this sci-fi epic, the behind-the-scenes revelations from the cast only add to the anticipation surrounding this cinematic spectacle.
